Hmmm… that’s a tough one. Mason Gross has one of the top 5 theater programs in the nation, but i think that’s specifically for acting. Although if it’s that good for acting, i can’t imagine that its theater production/management program would be that far behind. Plus, you get to study at the Shakespeare Globe in London your senior year, which i’ve heard is pretty cool. Of course, I’m going to Mason Gross in the fall for music performance, so my answer is slightly biased. ;)

I did look in to UArts though, and it seems like they have a great program as well. To mee it looks like in both programs you get your directing/playwright/production/design courses in. I think what it should all come down to is where you feel most comfortable as they’re both in different urban/suburban settings, as well as where you’ll have to make up the least amount of credits (if you do go to community college) as i know they both have pretty specific program guidelines.

Good luck with it all! :)
