Could be a few things. Maybe refining the glass that extra step to make it clear and free of color wasn’t feasible. Or, they may have done it purposely because tinted glass lets in less sun light allowing to the jars contents to keep longer. Thats why most beer bottles are brown or green, to let in less light. I don’t know what the bottlers of corona were thinking.

Blue balls are pretty valuable. I wouldn’t use them for canning. Just set your blue balls on display for all to admire.
