I do not think so and they are dishwasher safe. They should be fine if you boil them.

ANy time you put up or preserve somehting the jars are sterilized by boiling them. SO they will be fine to be boiled and would be fine in the dishwasher too.

I’ve boiled them and put them in the dishwasher and niether has seemed to cause any damage to them. Keep in mind that Mason jars are made quite durable; boiling is part of the canning and jarring process.

Yes. You can put them in the dishwasher or boil them. If you use the dishwasher, they’ll only be sterile if you have a sanitize cycle on it.

Make sure that the jars aren’t cold if you put them directly into boiling water. You can put them in warm water, and bring it up to a boil. Don’t boil them so hard that they clank around, that’s what could cause breakage.

No go for it . That’s what you do before you use them to can things. They will not break or crack, that’s the purpose of using them.
Mason jars are very strong !!

Of course not.
Mason canning jars are made to withstand high heat.
I can fruit and veggies every summer and fall and you need to scrub out and rinse your canning jars well… with the hottest soap water you can. I usually finish up with a boiling water bath (15 min in a pot of boiling water) just to be sure they are sterile before adding the food stuffs.
And if you can boil something… you can certainly put it in the dish washer!
Tell Mom it’s OK to stick them in the dishwasher to clean them or to put them in a pot of boiling water for 15 min. to sterilize them.

They should be fine. Glass will not normally break from boiling or freezing unless it has a extreme and immediate temperature change. I would put them in the water and let it come to a boil and you won’t have any problems.
